Being denominated in the curious ‘bitCents’, they were designed when Bitcoin was still of a relatively low value, as the term is no longer in use for the amount. The coins contain a private key and QR code within a square pit in the middle. They are numbered 1-100. These coins break from the trend set by Casascius and feature an simple but original front instead of a prominent Bitcoin symbol. Considered a prototype by its creators, it was meant to be cheap, having a lower denomination compared to the available Casascius coins at the time. A significant issue came about regarding shipping, as it reportedly cost up to ten times the cost of a single coin to have said coin shipped from Argentina.
